Nominators Answer

Nominee's story :

This is a joint nomination from the above and Julie Ormrod (consultant paramedic) We both work with Hannah closely and feel she is one of life's super humans!! Hannah wears many hats as you can see in her job title but she manages all of this with a can do attitude and a massive smile. I look forward to speaking/meeting with her ALWAYS. As well as this, she is the utmost professional, highly organised, really engaging and super caring. Hannah can be tasked with pretty much anything and she will say 'no problem, I'll do it right away for you' with a massive smile to boot! She requires little or no supervision and is fabulously methodical in her approach. She genuinely cares about the patients she is responsible for and has an abundance of common sense if we have asked the ridiculous!! Essentially she keeps us in check :) Part of Hannah's day job is placing alerts on the computer aided dispatch. This informs ambulance crews of essential information about the patient. For me, this might be a woman who is planning to birth somewhere unusual and has a complicated history we've been made aware of prior to her birth. She also uploads information such as a patient who has learning difficulties or has a life changing/limiting condition. She chooses her words carefully and is immensely respectful of peoples needs/choices. Hannah is also a community first responder in her spare time and is very active in the CFR community who are all volunteers. I know that any patient who see's Hannah in this role will have their day made by her massive smile and enthusiasm. Hannah truly deserves this recognition not least because she never moans and is always smiling (did i mention this already!). We need more Hannahs in the world...................................
