THANK-YOU COVID-19 CALL-TEAM VOLUNTEERS! For ensuring we ALL had a friend to lean on during the Pandemic Our Volunteer COVID-19 Call-Team quickly mustered themselves at the beginning of the Pandemic, when they recognised that there was going to be a need to support those who may be most vulnerable, isolated or lonely during the first Lockdown Making weekly, fortnightly or monthly calls as required, the COVID-19 Call-Team established meaningful relationships with the Volunteers they were calling whilst highlighting areas of concern to the Volunteer Office which enabled us to step in and help where we could If there was any way of demonstrating just how supportive of each other our Hinchingbrooke Volunteer Family are, I feel these Guys have shown exactly “it!” Having made almost 1,200 telephone calls between them during the 9 months they have been calling, it was lovely hearing that they were all enjoying making the calls just as much as the Volunteers were enjoying receiving them As the weeks went on the calls got longer and longer as true bonds and friendships were beginning to form and I feel the COVID-19 Call-Team bought a real feeling of camaraderie, hope and love to us all x I wanted to give the Volunteer COVID-19 Call Team a special mention this month for their dedication, care and compassion during the time they have been making their support calls and I know feedback from yourselves proves that each and every call received has been needed, wanted and truly appreciated It’s clear they have all made good use out of the “Unlimited Calls” section of their respective phone packages, which is a huge relief as I’m not sure the Volunteer Service budget would stretch to reimbursing 1,200 calls, but I think it’s fair to say that each and every one of them deserves a moment in the spotlight for us all to say a MASSIVE thank-you to them for everything they have done for us all! #TeamWorkAtIt’sBest #SpreadingTheVolunteerLove! #FamilyLookingAfterFamilyx Thank-You Team COVID-19 Call-Team! xxxSupporting Documents
