Nominee's story :
I am nominating Tracey who is the driving force behind her team, she not only takes on the day to day challenges. she is continuously looking at ways to improve current processes and has improved the way the team work. Tracey has excelled in her role and will often go above and beyond to support the health records team to ensure performance is maintained. She is the driving force behind the team and whilst the team often get praised for their efforts - Tracey is the unsung hero in the background. She responds positively to challenge, leads and implements changes to the department and team, she engages with staff, management and wider colleagues. Tracey is an excellent hands on role model and is continuously looking to improve and develop the needs of the service to provide efficiency whilst maintaining quality. Tracey has really shone in her role and stepped up to manage the team when her manager was taken out to support the covid vaccine programme. Shae has naturally taken a lead in managing the team and processes, liaising with wider Trust colleagues and ensuring the team maintain performance consistently achieving 99% or above in terms of performance. the health records team have worked very differently during Covid due to changes in pateint pathways, however she has led i making these changes happen despite challenges and impact upon the team. Whilst the team do see a high turnover of staff she plans her rota's effectively and efficiently and with tracey's resilience and positivity she drives the team to perform, often supporting the team in a hands on role to complete tasks. Tracey treats every set of casenotes as a physical patient and instills this in the staff. a number of audits and a daily huddle have been introduced to ensure staff on al shift patterns are kept up t date in the ever changing environment. Tracey has really made a difference to this team and really shone in taking the lead my absence to manage the health records teams at RBH, Bolton One and our Medical Legal Team. The medical legal team are consistently performing at 100% month on month. Tracey is a shining star and true unsung hero in the Trust often hidden in the background. She has gone above and beyond for a colleague who lost his wife to Covid ensuring all support offered was available, arranging a collection and personally delivering this. She kept in regular contact with the staff member to keep him updated on "work" providing some normality and comfort during a very difficult time which resulted in the staff member feeling reassured and supported on his return to work, and due to the nature of the working relationship was emotional and challenging for Tracey herself. Tracy is a caring, empathic, dedicated individual who goes above and beyond for her team, colleagues, patients and individuals.
