Nominators Answer

Nominee's story :

The Trust vaccination programme delivered over 10,000 Covid-19 vaccines to NHS and health & social care staff and this has been achieved through excellent team work by the vaccinators, the administrative staff and the volunteers. Each volunteer has gone above and beyond what has been asked of them and they have provided invaluable support to the team. they have covered every shift, never late and stayed beyond their time to ensure the service ran efficiently. The volunteers supported the admin team to maintain the flow of people through from check in to receiving their vaccinations, ensuring all consent paperwork was completed -with this support admin staff could often be released to undertake other backroom tasks/functions.The volunteers were instrumental in providing a safe, relaxed atmosphere, reducing anxieties and answering any questions they could, seeking guidance and advice for those questions they were unable to answer. They have shown a proactive and helpful attitude and going out of there way to support the admin team with tasks, nothing has been too much trouble, the many small things they did ensured the admin and vaccinators could continue to work efficiently. They have shown kindness, empathy and loyalty and resilience during these challenging times. They have shown an exceptional work ethic and have shown a real enthusiasm in supporting the vaccine programme as a whole. The feedback from staff attending for their vaccination has been that of a positive and well organised experience from start to finish, and this could not have been achieved without the support of the volunteers who have been positive, friendly and polite throughout, a real credit to the organisation and real valuable assets for which we are proud and privileged to have had their support.
