Nominee's story :
Lord has been one of the most valuable asset at Ealing Crisis and Assessment Treatment Team. He is charismatic always put himself forward to complete a task. Lord has utilised his experience from Ealing General Hospital to promote physical health clinic within the team. From ECG to blood test and Covid Swabs, all tasks are completed with great perfection. Lord has been of the most hard working staff during the Covid 19 swabs. He suffered from covid symptoms, once he recovered he was always there to support his colleagues and service users.
At the early stages of the pandemic, staff and service users felt very anxious and sometimes very scared. We did not know what is waiting for us, Lord has been one of the team members present to support us. Lord always dressed up with full PPE, he always advised us how to wear and take off PPE correctly. Lord showed great knowledge with PPE and he was always around to answer to our questions.
Lord is compassionate, he provides a sense of positivity to our service users. Our service users feel reassured with all advises suggested by Lord.
Lord is enthusiastic, team player and very dynamic. He assists our Registered mental health nurse with care plans and risks assessments. Lord helps with rearranging the layout in the office whereby staff feel comfortable and positive around our workplace.
Lord has worked within the NHS for nearly 15 years, he has worship his job, he devoted his time to his colleagues and service users, a time which won’t come back but Lord’s hard work will always be remembered and cherished.
