Nominee's story :
Ahmed works as the Renal stores manager under Oxford Radcliffe University Hospitals.In the last 14 months or so Ahmed has shown exceptional work ethics and high interpersonal skills.We are one of the Satellite Dialysis unit of Churchill Hospital and during Covid wave he provided us with supplies of PPE and all the necessary materials.Even when we have any stock issues as soon as we requests he tried to accommodate the request and send us the item even sometimes at very short notice.Ahmed still send us regular supplies , sometimes when we forget to request he will call and check if we need any of the items.Many occasions we have asked him to send the stocks with some of our other colleagues who will be visiting us and he will go above and beyond his job description to find the staff and give them the item to bring it to us which can sometimes becomes vital to provide treatment to our patients.Any time I have queries about order Ahmed will be the person to be in touch who solves most of the issues with out fail.He manages the stock for other units and our queries might put extra pressure for him however not even once in our communication he told me that he is busy and can't help.He is always happy to help.As a team we feel Ahmed has above and beyond his job role and still continues with his work and to show our appreciation during these difficult times he should be rewarded and we feel unsungheroawards will be an opportunity to show our gratitude.
