Nominators Answer

Nominee's story :

Since taking over the service in early 2023 they have transformed the service end to end for the better. This included producing new templates for responding to requestors, introduced new ways of communicating with the Trust, building relationships both with staff and members of the public. The girls are enthusiastic, friendly, motivated and their first response is always yes we can make it work. They constantly strive to improve themselves, the service and are willing to step outside of their comfort zone by agreeing to present (both locally and to external audiences) they ALWAYS have a smile of their faces and are an absolute pleasure to work with. Nothing is too much trouble, nothing is beyond them and I have to say compliance with the law has never been better. When they took over the service the Trust were receiving around 65 requests a month and were around the 70% compliance mark and now they are consistently 98-100% compliance month on month with ever increasing amounts of requests (averaging 80 requests a month). They are amazing and deserve recognition for what they have done and continue to do on a daily basis. Often working in the background and unseen by many, they deserve to be brought into the limelight for the work they have done and for being super lovely human beings. The girls are also avid promotors of wellbeing within the organisation, they can be found hanging flags, thinking of new ways to recognise strengths in each other and were the pioneers of our 'You're amazing' message box and boards. They often participate in initiatives to bring together teams and services from across the organisation.
