Nominee's story :
I am thrilled to nominate my esteemed colleague, Laurent Lafont in recognition of his outstanding contributions, hard work, and dedication in supporting the Procurement department. Laurent is a consummate professional, and his relentless pursuit of excellence has made him an indispensable part of our team.
Laurent has demonstrated a high level of expertise and exceptional work ethic since joining the Procurement department in 2007. He consistently goes above and beyond in his role, offering critical insights and guidance that have helped to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency across the board which has benefitted the local health economy.
In particular, played a pivotal role in leading numerous data and business intelligence Procurement projects and initiatives that have had a significant impact on our organisation. From savings to implementing new Procurement systems, they have been instrumental in driving results for our team. His attention to detail and ability to identify and mitigate risks have been invaluable to our organisation.
Moreover, he is a dedicated mentor and role model for fellow colleagues across the department while always willing to lend a helping hand and provide guidance and support to those in need. Laurent positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile has earned the respect and admiration of everyone he works with.
In particular, he has been instrumental in helping to train and develop new members of the Procurement team. He has taken the time to explain complex systems, processes, and tools in a way that is easy to understand, and his patience and empathy have helped to build strong relationships within our team.
Overall, Laurent has been an invaluable asset to our Procurement department. His work ethic, expertise, and dedication to our team have been nothing short of exceptional, and his embody the qualities of a true leader and role model while promoting PHU core values. I wholeheartedly recommend Laurent for the Non-Clinical Support Award and believe that he truly deserving of this honour.
