Mary Frances Payne
29th April 2019Fran Payne has worked for The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals since 1974. Fran currently works part-time for the Endoscopy Department, part-time providing admin support for the Bowel Cancer Screening Service, and part-time for the Health Records Department. She clocks up approximately 40 hours per week in total for the trust, which would be impressive for someone half her age!
Fran is very proficient on the computer and is always happy to learn new systems and embraces change, which she has had to do over her many years working for the trust. Fran will step in to help anyone during busy times and is very helpful, polite and has a lovely manner with patients, both face to face and on the telephone.
Her knowledge of the hospital GP surgeries and of different departments is immense and invaluable. As Fran is approaching her 80th year she shows no signs of slowing down and puts younger members of staff to shame.
